Pilates with Ana Caban

I workout at least once a day, I love the feeling right after I do. It makes me feel energized and happy with my body. I've recently been into yoga and pilates. One of my favorite pilates instructors is Ana Caban, she's amazing! I have her DVD on pilates called Quick Start Pilates for Weight Loss. Not only is there a workout to either lose or maintain weight, there is also a workout to do in the morning to make you feel energized. Now for all you people out there that don't know what pilates is, its a combination between actual workouts and yoga. Its effective but yet calming. Its probably one of my favorite ways to workout! (Next to the wii fit of course ! (:) The workout I do most on this DVD is the 30-minute weight loss program. It tones all over your body. You use thigh, butt, abs, and much more! You definitely will feel the burn the next day, in a good way though! A few examples of the moves she shows are the pilates 100, the roll-up, and hip circles. Its the best bang for your buck! It costs fifteen dollars, and you can buy it at places like Target or even your book store! Expect more reviews about Ana Caban! (:

Sugar, not only for your coffee, but for your legs?

I have found an alternative to waxing. Its called sugaring, ever heard of it? Its a very interesting process. You can get it professionally done or make your own. You can find the recipe here. It uses water, sugar (hence the name), and lime or lemon juice. Now I have read many reviews of sugaring and a lot of people have said its virtually painless. Now I'm very pleased to know what's in sugaring and its all natural ingredients. There are two different ways you can do sugaring. There is sugaring wax and just plain sugaring. Sugaring wax is the same as waxing but you only need it at room temperature. You spread it evenly where you want it and then you use a piece of cloth and smooth it on top of it. The only difference from waxing is you pull the way the hair grows. Plain sugaring is when you use about half of the sugaring mix and you (its sorta like clay) spread it on your leg and pull it off the way your hair grows. This technique also needs to be at room temperature. If it gets too hot it starts to melt. You keep using the same piece until you get all the hair then you dispose of it. Here's a video.

Yippee, a new product!

Wow, sorry that I haven't posted for like a month! I have had a lot on my mind and a lot of stuff to do. Plus my email was hacked on and it took me forever to fix my blogger account with my new email address! Anyway, recently I just found out about the new Urban Decay Primer Potion called Sin. It has a shimmery champagne color to it that you can use it as a highlighter on your eyes or as a regular primer potion. Now I'm very excited to try this. I've read and heard many good reviews on this product. I'm going to try to go out and get it sometime this or next month and I'll review it. This is something I would use if I was in a hurry and didn't have time to apply eyeshadow in the morning. If you would like to read the reviews click here. Sadly, if your not a Sephora beauty insider you have to wait until Feburary to buy it. You can easily sign up for Beauty Insiders at Sephora stores and you get many amazing perks such as free samples, birthday gifts, coupons, and secret sales!
