Tip(s) of The Day!

Are you guys sick of those "very attractive" bikini bumps you get when shaving your bikini line? I've learned a way to prevent/treat the bumps around that area. When shaving that delicate area sometimes the razor and your skin can cause friction between the two. This is what causes the bumps to appear. Not only are they ugly, they can be painful too! First off, when shaving make sure you have a razor that is not dull. I like to have a razor for that area and one for my legs. Another thing I like to do is use my hair conditioner around the bikini line (not inside, obviously, that would burn!) This allows the razor to glide along your skin and leaving it feel very soft. Once your done with shaving and you all dry take a deodorant (a clean one, just buy a mini one at Target for a dollar!) and glide gently across your bikini line and once again not inside your area. I use this tip every single time I get out of the shave. Now the results may vary, but I have found that it works on almost everyone I have told. If you have sensitive skin stick to a fragrance-free deodorant. I like to use a mini Dove Go Fresh Deodorant.

Summer Hair Tips!

Summer is now here! I wanted to share some great Summer hair tips and styles!

A really cute way to style your hair during the summer without much effort is to braid your hair and sleep on it and when you wake up you'll have perfect beachy waves! Then just scrunch with some hairspray and shine serum and off you go!

To protect your hair (and scalp) from the sun, use a misting sunscreen to spray a small amount over your head, then just let it fall onto your hair and scalp.

Before your day, when your getting ready use a heat protecting spray all over your hair. Even if you're not using hot tools on your hair it can still protect it from the heat outside.

Rinse your hair with cold water before entering a chlorine pool. The chlorine can soak into your hair follicles and it can damage your hair. Rinsing it before hand allows your hair to soak up and have no room left to soak up the damaging pool water.

During the Summer you must use a deep conditioner at least once a week. I tend to use mine twice a week during the Summer. The sun is very hard on our hair and it needs to R&R at the end of the week!

Avoid using hair ties that have metal clasps during the Summer. The metal can react with pool chemicals, break fragile hair, and get really hot from the sun!

Before you go to bed, take a shower and dry your hair until its just damp. Then twist it up into a bun and sleep on it. In the morning before you take it out hairspray all around your hair. Then take out your bun and finger tousle it and you have tousled, voluminous hair!

Jojoba oil works wonders on frizzy hair.

Wear a hat when in the sun for longer than 5 hours!

Try using organic products this will help your hair in the longer! Also don't forget that hair can get sun burned too and the way it heals is you have to get it trimmed!

Bath and Body Gradual Tanners!

I started using this product last Summer. Then I stopped when the Winter came. (I don't know why since you would think you would use it during Winter? Haha) I really enjoy using this product because it is basically like a lotion. Some self tanners have that nasty smell to it and my skin absorbs smells pretty well and it used to last on me all day! The Bath and Body Tanner smells fabulous and there are many different scents! The one I have been using recently is Honeysuckle. Its one of my favorites. The reason I use this self tanner is to not get tan by to make my tan last longer. I went to the lake for the three day weekend and I got pretty dark. So right away when I got home I applied the tanner lotion right after I got out of the shower. Its best to do it then because it locks in moisture from your shower. Also if you shower before bed like I do, it gives the tanner some time to work while your sleeping. The price is pretty affordable it costs around fifteen dollars! This product has helped my tan last longer through the Winter too!

My Favorite Drugstore Brand Make-Up.

I really don't use drugstore brand make-up anymore, not because I don't like them but that I don't trust them. What I mean by not trusting them is ones that I think that does not test on animals it ends up that it really does. This upsets me so I stop using the brand. The one brand I really trust is Urban Decay, now that can get a little pricey. So I picked out my favorite drugstore brand. My favorite drugstore brand is Physicians Formula, I really enjoy using their products because they don't test on animals, they are eco-friendly, and are for all types of skin (i.e. dry, oily, or sensitive!) Not once have I ever broken out because of their products. Another thing that I like is they have a large variety of face, eyes, and lip products! This brand is always coming out with something new! Their products are good quality too! The eye shadows are very pigmented, the face shimmer is just the right amount of shimmer, and the lip products give your face that extra omppff! Look Of The Day!

Well, technically it was last weeks look but its all good (: I figured you guys would still like it anyway! Its a Smokey burgundy/pinkish eye.

Here's a quick summery of what I did!

First, I applied Urban Decay Primer Potion. Then, I added Sin as my base color. After Sin, I lightly dusted Last Call all over my lid until it was even coloring. Then I pulled up the shadow a bit to give it that harsh edge cat eye effect. (You can use tape for a guideline if you need too!) Once I did that I took Maui Wowie and started in the middle of my lid and blended left to right until it faded. (Don't use too much Maui Wowie) After all of that I took Yeyo and lined my upper lid and waterline to give the wide eye look to my eyes. Then I lined my lower lash line with Bourbon. Apply about two to three full coats of mascara. Then start on your face make-up. Lightly dust Bare Radiance all over your face to give you that healthy glow. Then apply Hot Mama Blush to the apples of your cheeks. Voila, your finished!

Urban Decay New Products!

About 1-2 weeks ago Urban Decay came out with new stuff, they have a new and improved Skyscraper Mascara, Water-proof Fatty Lash Mascara, Pocket Rocket Lip Gloss, Midnight Cowboy Shimmer Lotion, and Get Baked Eyeshadow Palette. I can't wait to run out and buy some of these products! So far, I have heard great reviews on them!

Now what's new about the Skyscraper Mascara is it has a brand new bottle, mascara wand, and even formula! The new formula is suppose to lengthen, strengthen, separate, curl, brighten, and thicken your lashes without any clumping or flaking! The new mascara wand is longer and more flexible so it can grab your lashes and get it from root to tip. Now I have not tried this product yet but I am saying that it is worthy to go to an Ulta or Sephora to look at the display ones set out to play with! Also this product isn't test on animals (:

Finally, what we have all been waiting for....FATTY LASH MASCARA IS NOW GOING WATER-PROOF! This one product that I am defiantly excited to buy. I have only tried Fatty Lash Mascara a few times but I have already fallen in love with it. Right when I put it on it lengthened, thickened, and made my eye lashes look amazing! Fatty Lash Mascara has a huge mascara wand that will grasp all your lashes in no more than a few swipes. The formula is infused with hemp oil to keep your lashes healthy and since its Urban Decay it defiantly does not test on animals.


Pocket Rocket Lip Gloss is a cute, chic, and hott way to carry your lip gloss. Now you guys are probably wondering why I said hott and not hot? Well its because there are gorgeous male models on the front of it. Each lip gloss tells a short summary about the guy. Then if you tilt it to the side just a little bit, BAM the guy stands only in his undies! Now that's why I said hott. There are many different colors (or should I say men) to choose from. The colors range from bright reds to a sheer nude. Almost all of them have a pretty sparkle to them! The gloss formula is very cushiony on your lips and each has a crème brûlée flavor! There is a special ingredient in the formula that keeps your lips hydrated and fills in fine lines. Also the application wand is perfect for blending!


Midnight Cowboy Shimmer Lotion is probably going to be one of the highest rated shimmer lotions ever! I can just tell because first the eye shadow everyone loves, then the glitter eyeliner, then a lipstick, and now this! This lotion is paraben-free and leaves skin soft with aloe, chamomile, avocado, and jojoba oils. Then it has Vitamin E and Green Tea Extracts in it that serve as an antioxidant for the skin.
